Butterscotch Pie

            6     Tbs  butter            1-2/3  cups  milk
            1     cup  brown sugar       3           egg yolks slightly
            1     cup  boiling water                 beaten
            3     Tbs  all-purpose flour   1   tsp   vanilla extract
            dash      salt               2     cups  Whipped cream
                                                     or cool whip

            Procedure
            1  Cook and cool one pie shell
            2  Add brown sugar and butter, heat until it bubbles, stir
              constantly
            3  Boil 1 minute and add vanilla
            4  Brown butter in frying pan.
            5  Mix cornstarch, flour and salt together.  Add milk and brown
              sugar mixture stirring constantly until boils and thickens.
            6  Stir in beaten eggs very slowly.
            7  Stir in boiling water
            8  Pour mixture into pie shell.
            9  Serve with whipped cream
