Firecracker Saltines

                   2 sleeves saltine crackers or oyster crackers
                   ½ cup canola oil
                   1 tsp garlic powder
                   1 tsp onion powder
                   1 packet Ranch or Fiesta Ranch seasoning mix dry
                   1 Tbls red pepper flakes
                   ¼ tsp cayenne pepper

            Procedure
             1.  Combine all ingredients except crackers in bowl and let sit
                overnight.
             2.  The following day place crackers in 1-gallon-sized sealable
                plastic bag.   Pour the oil mixture evenly over the crackers.
                Seal the bag and flip to allow the oil mixture to run over the
                crackers for 5 minutes, flip again. Repeat the flipping every
                five minutes to evenly coat the crackers for about 1 hour.
                Allow to sit overnight before serving.
             3.  If crackers are too oily place crackers on cookie sheet and
                bake at 250 for 20 minutes.
