Beer Bread

            1      bottle (12 ounce) beer   1        stick of butter or
            1  Tbs  sugar                            margarine
                                         3-1/2  cups  self-rising flour
            Procedure
            1  Mix flour, beer and flour in mixing bowl.
            2  Grease loaf pan with butter and sprinkle sides with sugar.
            3  Place batter mixture in pan and lay stick of butter on top of
              mixture.
            4  Bake 1 hour @ 350°
            5  Test with toothpick for doneness
            Servings: 12
