Dave's Prime Rib

            3  lbs  boneless beef rib roast  2  Tbs  garlic powder
            2  Tbs  salt                 2  Tbs  seasoned salt
            2  Tbs  pepper
            Procedure
            1  In small bowl combine spices and then rub on roast. Let roast
              sit unrefrigerated for about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 425°.
              Place roast on rack in roasting pan; insert meat thermometer;
              and place in preheated oven. Bake for 4 minutes and then
              reduce heat to 350°. Bake until desired temperature is
              reached. Should take about 25 - 30 minutes per pound for
              medium. I like an internal temperature of 145°. Remove roast
              from oven and let sit 10 minutes before cutting. Serve with au
              jus and horseradish sauce.
