Chili (Dave’s)

                   1  Tbs    Olive oil
                   1  med    Onion - diced
                   1  lb     Lean ground beef
                1 ½   Tbs    Chili powder
                   1  Tbs    Ground cumin
                   1  tsp    Granulated sugar
                   3  Tbs    Tomato paste
                   1  Tbs    Garlic powder
                1 ½  tsp     Salt
                  ½   tsp    Black pepper
                   1  can    Beef broth (16 oz+-)
                   1  can    Crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
                   2  cans   Brooks mild chili beans (16 oz. cans)
                             Small amount of cooked, thin spaghetti



            Procedure
             1.  Sauté olive oil and diced onions over medium to low heat
                until onions are transparent. 5 minutes or so.  Do not brown
                onions.
             2.  Add ground beef and cook until beef is browned.
             3.  Add spices and stir
             4.  Add broth, tomatoes and beans.  Simmer on low for 30
                minutes.
             5.  Cook small amount of thin spaghetti al dente broken into
                small pieces and add to chili.
