Teriyaki Pork Chops, Crock Pot

                 2  Tbls  oil
                 4        pork chops, about 1” thick
                 2        garlic cloves, minced
                 2  Tbls  brown sugar
                ¼   cup   soy sauce
                ⅓    cup   chicken broth
                          salt & pepper to taste


            Procedure
               1.  Sprinkle salt & pepper on pork chops. Place oil in skillet
                   and brown pork chops over medium-high heat.  Remove
                   from heat when browned.
               2.  In a small bowl mix garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce and
                   chicken broth.
               3.  Add browned pork chops and broth mixture to crock pot.
               4.  Cook on high 4-5 hours or low 6-7 hours.
